Domestic carbon emissions are lower than in Western Europe
The first results of the K&H CO2 calculator for agriculture – developed by K&H Group and the Institute of Agricultural Economics (AKI) – show that the carbon emissions of Hungarian agriculture are only one third the Western European average.

The calculator measures CO2, methane and nitrous oxide emissions (both direct and indirect) based on actual production. According to national data, the domestic agricultural sector emits 547 tonnes of CO2/million euros of asset value, compared to an international average of 1,528 tonnes. //
