AI vs. deepfake: the battle for digital credibility

Deloitte’s “2024 Connected Consumer Study” has found that half of respondents feel the authenticity of online information has deteriorated, while two-thirds of those who are familiar with generative AI are afraid of manipulation. In 2023 technology companies already spent USD 5.5bn on filtering out deepfake content. //
