Agricultural Research Center: precision technologies in agriculture represent hundreds of billions of reserves
The annual output of Hungarian agriculture can be increased by 300-350 billion forints annually (10-15 percent) by using a wide range of precision technologies – Gyuricza Csaba, Director General of the National Center for Agricultural Research and Innovation (NAIK) told MTI on Tuesday, at a conference in Gödöllő.
According to experts, with precision farming, annually 25-30 thousand forints more yields per hectare can be achieved in arable farming in Western Europe, and this amount in Hungary can reach 65-70 thousand forints as the base is lower as in Western Europe. (MTI)
