Institute of Agricultural Economics: poultry meat exports increased, pork meat exports decreased
By the end of September this year, poultry meat exports increased, while pork meat exports slightly decreased compared to the same period in 2024 – according to the latest summaries of the Institute of Agricultural Economics.

The volume of poultry meat exports increased from 159.7 thousand tons to 162.8 thousand tons in annual comparison, and the value increased from 165.4 billion forints to 194.9 billion forints. Imports decreased from 45.3 thousand tons to 39.1 thousand tons, and in value from 46.6 billion forints to 46.2 billion forints – they wrote.
Pork exports decreased from 123.4 thousand tons to 113.9 thousand tons, with a value of 141.4 billion forints to 123 billion forints
Live pig exports increased from 24.3 thousand tons to 27 thousand tons, with a value of 23.1 billion forints to 21.6 billion forints. Pork imports decreased from 107 thousand tons to 94.1 thousand tons, with a value of 121.5 billion forints to 107.2 billion forints. Live pig imports decreased from 48.1 thousand tons to 33.8 thousand tons, with a total value of 45.5 billion forints to 28.2 billion forints by the end of September – the summary reads.
