Vodafone Hungary suspends its proposed ads on TV2
The Vodafone Magyarország, which is actively taking part in defending women's rights publicly protesting against the scenes occured on 24 April in the Éden Hotel reality show of TV2 as well as against the attitude of the TV2 television channel in connection with the case. Vodafone considers it unacceptable that the program makers did not provide immediate help to the abused woman.
The Vodafone as the responsible advertiser of the Hungarian society and advertiser on TV2 feels obliged to speak on this matter. Vodafone takes a position against all forms of violence, in order to protect human rights and to comply with the European standards.
The Vodafone Magyarország, is actively involved in defending women's rights, together with the NANE (Women for Women Together Against Violence) Association within the “Vodafone for the safety of women” program.
