Lucart was included in the top 1% of the world’s sustainably operating companies
Lucart, which supports sustainable paper production, received platinum certification from the independent agency EcoVadis, which is the highest recognition of corporate social responsibility. Only 1% of the more than 90,000 companies analyzed by EcoVadis worldwide can boast a similar result. One of the Lucart Group’s 10 production plants is located in Nyergesújfalu, Hungary.

According to the CEO, the secret of success lies in teamwork
The Ecovadis evaluation examines many aspects of sustainability, grouping them into the following four topics: environmental protection, labor practices and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. These aspects are based on international sustainability standards such as the ten principles of the UN Global Compact, International Labor Organization (ILO) conventions, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, ISO 260004 standard, CERES roadmap and UN Business and Human Rights guidelines.
“We are proud of this numerous, important result, which we achieved with great teamwork that takes into account all aspects of sustainability and affects all our production sites”
– said Massimo Pasquini, CEO of the Lucart Group.
