Ministry of Rural Development: there will be no food price explosion
The Ministry of Rural Development (VM) believes on the basis of the study of the Agricultural Economics Research Institute (AKI) that there will be no food price boom in the next six months in Hungary, rather a 10 percent food price increase is expected in several steps.
The ministry told MTI, that the retail price of white bread according to experts, is expected to increase by no more than 15 percent until next March, while the retail price of milk may increase between 5-7 percent. In the retail price of pork a maximum 5-10 percent increase is expected. (MTI)
