Retail sales in Germany are worse than expected
Another disappointing data came from Germany: the retail turnover in September became much worse than expected.
According to preliminary data from the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), retail sales declined by 2.6 percent compared to September last year.
Analysts expect a 0.9 percent increase after the 1.5 percent growth of August. (MTI)
