Tesco has shortened the payment deadline to 14 days for the smaller partners
At the Tesco Supplier Conference held in Krakow, Jamie Walker, Central European purchasing manager of Tesco announced the changes in front of more than 1,500 suppliers.
Tesco is doing so much to deepen the relations with its suppliers in Central Europe, including Hungary. The company seeks to develop a simpler, more transparent system for its partners. In order to introduce this system, the company introduces a single payment system for its suppliers and for small businesses uses a shorter payment period.
