The market in Gyula was renewed with the help of the Farm Development Program

The markets that are selling locally manufactured products have raison d'etre in Hungary, because it is important for the communities again, to obtain locally produced agricultural products and good quality food – Budai Gyula Minister of State at the Ministry of Rural Development said on Wednesday in Gyula at the handover ceremony of the renewed market, partly supported by the Farm Development Program.

Budai Gyula highlighted that under the previous governments markets were closed in row, shopping malls and plazas were built in their place. Now the process is reversed in the last three years.

The local government of Gyula contributed to the 24 million HUF worth investment with 10.5 million HUF, the remaining part was financed by the Farm Development Program. (MTI)
