The Swiss Nestlé closes its only Romanian plant
The Swiss Nestlé Food Group closes its only Romanian plant in Temesvár, leaving 388 people unoccupied -the company announced on Friday.
Workers are already negotiating the terms and conditions of the redundancies. The plant is expected to be closed at the end of May.
The Romanian press is aware that the Swiss group is relocating the Romanian production to Hungary. More than 10,000 tons of sweets and coffee were produced at the plant in Temesvár every year. (MTI)
