Spar has reduced the amount of sugar used by almost a hundred tonnes
The department store chain is committed to promoting a health-conscious lifestyle and a diet that supports it, so it has reduced the amount of sugar used to produce its own branded products by almost a hundred tons – theSpar Magyarország Kereskedelmi Kft. told MTI on Thursday.
The announcement quoted Maczelka Márk, head of communications at Spar, who said that the “Less Sugar – More Vitality!” their initiative has doubled its 50-tonne sugar reduction: by the end of 2020, the amount of added sugar in their own-branded and internationally-sourced own-brand products had been reduced by more than 97 tonnes.
