Spain’s DIA joins forces with Pesca España to promote fish consumption
In Spain retailer DIA is cooperating with Pesca España in a project that popularises fish consumption in Spain, aimportant element of a healthy diet. In 2022, the retailer’s fish assortment consisted of more than 300 products, with hake, salmon, sea bream and mussels being the most popular varieties. In the last 14 years the consumption of fish and seafood in Spanish households decreased by 25%, from 30kg/person to 22kg/person.
