Hungary is among the laggards in terms of employment
According to the latest datas of the Union's statistical office; Hungary was among the laggards last year, on the basis of the employment rate of the 20 to 64 age group. Especially the older generation's working-level pulled down the average. Interestingly, this age group like to work (or can) in the happier part of Europe.
By investigating the employment of the 55 – 64 age group, it has revealed that Hungary has the, the largest gap, compared to the EU average of 46.3 percent. In Hungary, this data was only 34.4 percent in 2010. This means that only one in three over age 55 are working – reports mfor.hu.
