REWE launches new meat product with 50-percent vegetable content
Germany’s REWE Group has launched classic meat products made of 50 percent vegetables, under the brand name ‘Better Half’. At the beginning the retailer will be offering two products – minced beef and sausages – on the self-service shelves of REWE stores. It took REWE two years to develop Better Half products, which will be available from this autumn.
