Rapeseed producer prices rose by 46 percent
According to European Commission data, the Canadian export price (FOB) of canola fluctuated between $431 and $472/tonne in March, and between $481 and $502/tonne by April 9. The export price (FOB) of canola from Australia fluctuated between $485 and $531/tonne in March, and fell to $481/tonne in the first two weeks of April. In Moselle, France, the port price (FOB) of rapeseed ranged between $518 and $554/tonne between March 5 and 26, and was traded for $562 and $572/tonne by April 9. Ukrainian oilseed contracts were concluded at a price level of $513 and $533/tonne (FOB) in March, and $523/tonne between April 2 and 9.

According to AKI PÁIR data, the producer price of rapeseed excluding VAT and transport costs was 226.6 thousand forints/ton in the second week of April, which exceeded the previous year by 46 percent. On the Paris Commodity Exchange (Euronext/MATIF), the May exchange settlement price of rapeseed was in the range of 508–545 euros/ton between April 7 and 17.
