Regina “Rotoloni” toilet paper to conquer Europe
Sofidel launches the Regina “Rotoloni” toilet paper, which will be available in Hungary, Spain, Poland, the Netherlands and Romania. Present in around 30 countries, Sofidel Group is one of the world’s leading tissue and household paper companies.
The group’s most famous brand is Regina – the second largest brand of tissue paper products in Europe. Over the last 30 years “Regina Rotoloni” (“Regina Végtelen”) toilet paper has become one of the most popular products in the Italian market: this maxi roll is more than three times longer than standard rolls.
“The product’s special sustainability characteristics also include the use of less plastic for packaging and a smaller roll per kilogram of paper”, says Zoltán Tilly, Sofidel’s sales and marketing director in Hungary. The product is packaged in 60% recycled plastic or environmentally friendly paper, depending on the given European market. Sofidel’s goal is to halve the use of conventional plastics in the manufacture of its products by 2030.
