Real wages rose by 3.1 percent in January-August

--> The real wages – beside the 5.2 percent rise in consumer prices – increased by 3.1 percent, in the first eight months of the year, compared to the previous year mainly due to the personal income tax changes – reports the Central Statistical Office.
In August, real earnings increased by 2.0 percent compared to a year ago. Net earnings of workers in the private sector increased by 7.0, the net earnings of the workers of the budget increased by 3.4 percent in August, compared to the previous year. The average gross income of the full-time employees in January-August was 202,000 HUF – reports ProfitLine.hu.
