Procter&Gamble announced a special partnership with the Hungarian Paralympic Committee and paralympian Éva Hajmási
P&G has been a prominent supporter of the Olympic and Paralympic Games for the 12th year at the international level, and this year it launched a program together with the Hungarian Paralympic Committee that supports the physiotherapy treatment of Hungarian Paralympians.
The domestic Paralympic athletes have performed exceptionally well in recent years. According to current data, 4,400 athletes in various sports are expected to participate in this year’s Paralympic Games in Paris. Our country has nearly 500 registered para-athletes who represent the country in more than 30 sports. The qualifications are still ongoing in several sports, but to date the competitors of the Hungarian Paralympic Team have collected a total of 30 quotas in 10 sports, so it is expected that around 40-45 Hungarian athletes will qualify for the XVII. For the Paralympic Games, which will be held in the French capital between August 28 and September 8, 2024.
As a prominent international Olympic and Paralympic supporter, P&G is launching a new domestic program this year, in the framework of which, in cooperation with the Hungarian Paralympic Committee, they support the physiotherapy treatments of Hungarian Paralympians. The ambassador of the program is Éva Hajmási, Paralympic silver and bronze medalist, world and six-time European champion in dagger and sword fencer. Physiotherapy is vital for Paralympic athletes to enhance performance, prevent injury and promote recovery. Through targeted exercises and rehabilitation techniques, physiotherapy helps maintain and improve mobility, strength and endurance, which are essential for high-level competition. It also plays a significant role in post-competition recovery, ensuring the long-term health and well-being of athletes, allowing them to continue to train and compete effectively.
