Pringles are sold as if they were free
Due to the dynamic growth of global demand for Pringles, the Kellanova company started building new factories in Asia and Mexico. The company’s CEO, Steve Cahillane, said that they are able to sell every single box, so they plan to set up new plants in the Asian market in order to meet the global market demand.
Kellanova also owns other snack brands such as Cheez-It, RXBAR and Eggo frozen waffles. The company faces several challenges in North America, where food sales volumes have declined due to inflation and changes in consumer behavior, making these products less popular. In the last quarter, a volume decrease of more than 6% was experienced in North America and a decline was also recorded in Europe.
With new investments and strategic steps, Kellanova intends to strengthen its position in the global market in response to the growing demand for Pringles’ products.
