It is still allowed to smoke in 40 percent of Prague's restaurants
It is still allowed to smoke in 40 percent of the restaurants in Prague and Brno, the two of the largest cities of the Czech Republic – according to the Zomato catering guide.
The statistics were published on the occasion that the Czech government has recently approved a law amendment that would completely ban smoking in all types of restaurants from 1 January 2016. The government's proposal must still be approved by parliament, which has failed several times and the heavy smoker head of state Milos Zeman has to sign it as well. (Kokes János, MTI)
