Chile has joined POPAI’s parent organisation, Shop! Enhancing Retail Enviroments & Experiences. In South America Chile is the third country, after Argentina and Brazil, where the global POP and in-store organisation is present. //

Valentine’s Day all over the world
Eleven POPAI and Shop! organisations have collected various Valentine’s Days themed POS, visual merchandising, store design and other in-store and solutions. We can see from this selection that multinational brands dominated, but local retail chains were also involved in the seasonal activities.
Typically promotions were focusing on facilitating gift giving with creative ideas. QR codes are used more and more frequently to provide information about the promotion. //
Australians were happy to part with their money before Easter
Australians must really like sweets, as the majority of the AUD 1.5bn they spent before Easter was used for buying cake and chocolate.
Mother’s Day is celebrated two weeks later than in Hungary, and on this occasion Australian consumers spent AUD 754m on flowers, chocolate, champagne and gifts. //
