New York hospitals make plant-based meals the default
Better Food Foundation has signed a cooperation agreement with the healthcare service provider of New York City and the office of the mayor, according to which plant-based meals are served as the primary option in 11 New York hospitals.

More than half of patients opt for plant-based food
The programme has been very successful so far: more than half of patients chose plant-based meals over the still available meat dishes, and 95% were satisfied with them. At first only plant-based lunch was served, but they proved to be so popular that the scheme was extended to dinner too, even though only 1% of patients claimed that they are vegetarian or vegan. //
