NAV auditors found errors in the summer sale every fifth inspection
At Lake Balaton and Lake Velence, the auditors carried out more than three thousand inspections between July 1 and August 31 this year, in 20 percent of the cases they found violations – the National Tax and Customs Office (NAV) presented the results of its summer campaign with MTI on Monday.
According to the information, the NAV examined, among other things, whether the traders and service providers provided invoices or receipts for their income, whether the enterprises registered their employees, whether they complied with the rules for the sale of excise products and the contribution to tourism development.
The inspectors discovered most abuses during the examination of the regularity of receipts and employment, and about five hundred taxpayers had problems with this.
The trend of the previous years has not changed either, the caterers still “forget” to give the receipt most often.
The correct use of the VAT collector was also a problem for many businesses, of course the “hit” in the cash registers was always at the expense of the state.
The inspectors found irregularities in every fourth excise inspection, and several people tried to avoid paying the tourism development contribution – they listed in the announcement.
