Garbage plate as a culinary concept
It was 5-6 years ago that the so-called garbage plate trend started in New York: a garbage plate is made by collecting all kinds of leftover food from the restaurant kitchen, and then serving it to guests the next day. Dozens of restaurants do this in The Big Apple and the only rule is that there is no rule. The food section of the The New York Times has already published the list of Top 10 restaurants for eating garbage plates!
