Magazine: Our bubble tea
The world has come to us! Finally, we can say: Bubble Tea (started out from Asia in the early 1980s) can be tasted in Budapest too. At 10 Vámház Boulevard there is a small tea room that sells this beverage, made by adding sweetened tapioca pearls (these are also flavoured with different aromas and syrups) to the tea, and sometimes even milk, fruit juice or some kind of alcohol as well. Tapioca pearls are difficult to obtain in Hungary, our heroes use black ones without any flavouring. Four flavours are available and drinks are served hardly cooled, not too sweet.
