The number of employees continued to increase in the agricultural sector
The number of employees continued to increase in the agricultural sector this year; in the first three months, the sector has employed more than 211 thousand people – the Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) said at a press conference in Budapest.
Czerván György presented that in this period, the number of employees increased by 11.2 percent. Compared to the first three months of 2015, 21 300 more people were working in agriculture. Last year, more than 230 thousand people worked in the Hungarian agriculture full-time. This is 13 600 more than a year earlier (7.2 percent growth). (MTI)
