Bees is the essence – an interactive puppet show series supported by Syngenta
Getting to know nature and, at the same time, preserving it, cannot be started early enough. This idea gave birth to an interactive puppet show and series of workshops entitled “Bees are the essence”, which is realized within the framework of the Son and Father Program led by Csilla Gévai and Eszter Koródi with the support of Syngenta.
The aim of the program is to draw attention to the importance of pollinators, to introduce their lifestyle and habits to the youngest. So far, children have been able to watch the puppet show about the wonderful life of bees in 17 kindergartens across the country from Szarvas to Sopron.
Launched in March, the program will take the interactive performance in the interpretation of puppet artists Csilla Gévai and Bence Benkő to a total of 20 institutions.
The performance, which reaches more than 500 children, is always followed by a conversation and session with beekeeper Tibor Weiner Sennyey. Here, the little ones can ask their questions, look at the spleen, and get an insight into the mysteries of beekeeping. An interactive employment booklet also helps with the playful processing and integration of what is being said.
