The mayor of the second district is pissed of because of McDonald’s
Gergely Őrsi mayor criticized the advertising placement of the fast food chain.
“Dear McDonald’s! In our opinion, a global brand of this size does not need advertising, especially not an illegal advertising network that disfigures the cityscape”
– said the mayor.
“It would be much better advertising if these tarpaulins, or the price of the tarpaulins, were donated to charity, for example to the II district, for example for the renovation of the old village hall or the restoration of the community hall of the parish in the old village of Pesthidegkút, where the roof structure recently collapsed. This would be useful, positive it could work as an advertisement, as opposed to disfiguring the cityscape, and we are forced to act in this way”
– he said.
