Mandatory mask wearing gave the restaurants the finisher
With all the tightening, there are fewer guests and shoppers. The traders of the capital’s most popular streets feel completely left alone in the pandemic situation.
A survey of the current situation was conducted in 11 thematic streets belonging to the Shopping Street Management (BUM) advocacy, which showed that the 11 pm closure did not cause as much damage as the border closure since 1 September and mask wearing. Most traders try to survive the next few weeks or months with shortened opening hours, home deliveries or closures, however tax cuts could help them survive the most.
