Together with its Mastercard partners, it will plant 100 million trees over the next five years
The payment technology firm wants to mobilize the market sector through the establishment of the Priceless Planet Coalition to take concrete steps in environmental protection.
Mastercard announces the creation of a Priceless Planet Coalition to coordinate corporate sustainability efforts and deliver significant investments in environmental protection. As a first step, planting 100 million trees was a small target for the next five years. The founding partners of the coalition are Citibank, Santander UK, IHS Markit, bunq, Saks Fifth Avenue, L.L. Bean, American Airlines, the New York Transportation Authority and Transport for London, which is responsible for the London Transport Network.
