Mastercard would also accelerate digital payment with infrastructure development program
The Mastercard Infrastructure Development Program can give digital payments a new boost, as Program Participants can make card payments available to merchants within 3-4 days. In many cases, you can start your application from home, so in the current emergency situation, you can find a quick solution for those interested.
Mastercard launched its Infrastructure Development Program on November 29, 2019. The goal is to double the number of currently 145,000 POS terminals in Hungary in two years. The program was open to service providers who want to help merchants with their fast, convenient and personalized services. Today, more than 17 card acceptors are waiting for card acceptance after applications have been processed, often in full digital channels.
