Hungarian firms plan to recruit again in the second quarter

In the 2nd quarter of 2023 26% of Hungarian employers intend to recruit new workers, while 22% of them calculate with layoffs. According to 41-country survey conducted by ManpowerGroup with more than 41,000 employers (510 were from Hungary), the Net Employment Outlook (NEO) was at a 2% average, which was 10 percentage points higher than in the previous quarter, but 10 percentage points lower than the +12% a year earlier.
