Hungarians buy vegetables and fruits mostly in large chain stores
73 percent of Hungarians procure vegetables and fruits in large chain stores, 42 percent in vegetable stores, 34 percent in markets or market halls, and 17 percent in producer markets, MTI was informed on Thursday of the results of a representative survey by the Délalföldi Kertészek Szövetkezete (DélKerTÉSZ)
According to the research, 39 percent of the population spends more than 5,000 forints a month on vegetables and fruits; This amount is 3-4 thousand forints for 40 percent and 1-2 thousand forints for 19 percent of them. (MTI)
