Nearly half of the Hungarians pay with cash by routine, according to a research
Nearly half of the Hungarians pay with cash by routine, while most households have credit cards and are familiar with credit card payments – according to a national, representative survey on electronic payment habits.
The Electronic Payment Service Provider Association’s (EFISZ) communication highlights that the research has clearly established that most households have credit cards, smartphones and laptops. Two-thirds of the respondents have Internet subscriptions at home, the Internet is most often used for communication, reading news, and the average number of hours spent online is 3 hours a day.
