Half of Hungarians are already buying premium products online
Nearly half of Hungarian consumers are already buying premium products online, and this proportion is getting closer to the 61-percent European and the 69-percent world average. What is more, 15 percent are happy to order from overseas – reveals a global online survey by Nielsen, conducted in 64 countries. However, according to the Changing Consumer Prosperity report, 81 from 100 Hungarians are still buying premium products in physical stores.
What values do consumers attach to premium products? Top quality (56 percent), good performance (51 percent), a great design (43 percent), product experience (42 percent) and the brand (42 percent). Hungarians are the most willing to spend extra forints on premium products in the following categories: coffee/tea, clothes/shoes, dairy products, laundry detergents and body care products. //
