The Hungarian Advertising Association urges a dialogue in the case of advertising tax
The Hungarian Advertising Association (MRSZ) calls the government for dialogue because of the changes in the tax on advertising.
Lázár János, Minister leading the Prime Minister’s Office told MTI on Tuesday that he proposes advertising tax reduction and to introduce a flat rate system, instead of the current progressive tax tax system on advertising.
Lázár János did not wanted to revel the extent of the flat tax , but he repeatedly referred to the five percent advertising tax in Austria, in his interview by MTI on on Tuesday night. The advertising tax is the highest in Austria in the European Union.
The Hungarian Advertising Association in its communication sent to MTI on Wednesday emphasizes to initate professional dialogue with the the government, before the adoption of the proposed legislation, and continues to be against the advertising tax. (MTI)
