Half of the Hungarian Mangalitsa products are sold in Spain
About 20 thousand of the Hungarian Mangalitsas are processed in Hungary, while the majority of the products are exported to premium markets. Half of all exports, about 500 tonnes are shipped to Spain – the president of the National Association of Mangalica Breeders told MTI.
Tóth Péter told that a delegation of members of the association will participate in a professional program in Spain between 8 and 13 April. The National Association of Mangalica Breeders debuts before the Spanish professional audience within the conference and a trade show in Madrid on 9 April. The National Association of Mangalica Breeders will also meet with the representatives of the local Ibérico Pig Breeder Association. (MTI)
