This article is available for reading in Trade magazin 2024/4
The results show that young people are most comfortable using debit cards (52%) and mobile payment (51%), but it may come as a surprise that they say cash is the most secure payment method: 45% consider it “absolutely” secure, while 41% said the same about card payments and 36% about mobile payment. The proportion of people who use a debit card daily is the highest among career starters (32%). Mobile payment is popular across all young age groups, with 51% of university students already using it several times a week and 30% doing so daily. //
