Hungarian Confectionery Manufacturers on Palm Oil
Palm oil issues have aroused considerable interest and have been the subject of serious debate recently.
The confectionery industry is aware that current palm oil management raises important issues. Because conscious consumers are sensitive to palm oil content in their products, many manufacturers have undertaken to work only with sustainable palm oil: Among our members, Cerbona, Eispro, Göteborg , Ferrero, Intersnack, Mars, Mondelez, Nestlé have joined RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) and many of our other members purchase only RSPO certified palm oil.
