According to a research, the international expansion of Hungarian e-commerce is still in its infancy
The growth of Hungarian e-commerce may be hindered in the long run by the fact that its international expansion is still in its infancy, according to research conducted by GKID, which specializes in e-commerce research on behalf of the Digital Trade Association (DKSZ).
According to the summary sent to MTI on Wednesday, the estimated number of e-commerce companies with online sales of at least 10 million HUF per year is between 500 and 600, of which about 100 companies can be considered as online traders by their main activity. Their net turnover from cross-border sales was around 30-40 billion HUF in 2021. (MTI)
