A series of events presenting Hungarian wines was held in Poland
Thirteen wineries from five Hungarian wine regions have been introduced in recent days in the Polish capital, as well as in the Wina Wegierskie Roadshow, organized in Krakow and Wroclaw, Csiba-Herczeg Ágnes, the organizer of the series told MTI on Friday.
The announcement recalls that in 2020, Hungary exported a total of approximately 19.2 billion HUF worth of wines made from fresh grapes in bottles of up to two liters, of which 1.3 billion HUF to Poland. While Hungarian bottled wine exports as a whole increased by 13 percent last year compared to 2018, exports to Poland decreased by 12 percent, which is also at the expense of the coronavirus pandemic.
