The President of the Bank Association welcomes the reduction of the bank tax
Patai Mihály, the President of the Hungarian Bank Association welcomes the announcement on the possible reduction of the bank tax – the Hungarian Bank Association told MTI on Monday.
He pointed out that this tax item was originally introduced by the government as a”crisis tax”, but because the crisis ended it just impedes the healthy maintenance of market mechanisms.
He recalled that the Association is negotiating with the Ministry of National Economy in the issue, and hope that an agreement will born soon. (MTI)
