Lidl Hungary became the store chain of the year

Lidl Hungary won the Retailer of the Year competition. The company, which is 20 years old this year, was able to take home 3 awards and a special award, including the “Store chain of the year 2024” recognition, with which it became the absolute winner of the evening. This year, Trade Magazin recognized the work of outstanding traders for the 10th time.

In the Retailer of the Year 2024 competition, stores and chains of stores were awarded in which the sales concept forms a synergy with the external and internal store appearance, design, staff, service, the needs of the target group, and product presentation, and all of this is reflected in their communication. Among the applicants, Lidl Hungary proved to be the most successful, its Budaörsi út store was awarded “Discount Store of the Year” at the award ceremony, and was also chosen as “Discount Store Chain of the Year” and also earned the title “Store Chain of the Year”.

In addition, the department store chain also received a special award from Mars.

The applications were judged by a professional jury of 15 members and decided on the results, and the award ceremony took place in a festive setting at the gala evening of the Business Days conference.
