Lidl reduces its use of plastic by 210 tons
In addition to the measures already announced, Lidl Magyarország will reduce its use of plastics by a further 210 tonnes by the end of the year by reducing the weight of PET bottles of its own branded mineral water and by cutting back its plastic packaging.
The Communication highlights the fact that from June this year, the supermarket chain uses a transparent, thinner and toner-free film for the packaging of all mineral water instead of the thicker and color-printed film. (MTI)
