The new program of the MNB calls for environmentally conscious banking
The Green Program of the Hungarian National Bank (MNB) encourages environmentally conscious “Banking” – Binder István, MNB’s spokesman told M1 news channel on Tuesday.
He added that the MNB would like financial service providers to provide more favorable rates to customers who provide an electric car or a house equipped with a solar panel for home insurance and car insurance. Currently, the insurance of an electric car costs more than a conventional car and the property insurance of a house with solar panel is usually more expensive than a traditional property – he pointed out.
