The Kopint-Tárki expects 2.2 percent growth for this year, and a 2.7 percent growth for next year
The Kopint-Tárki decreased its Hungarian economic growth forecasts (forecasted in April) from 2.4 per cent to 2.2 per cent, while next year’s forecast from 2.9 to 2.7 per cent – the research institute announced on Tuesday in Budapest at a press conference.
The unemployment rate this year will be 5.6 percent and 5.1 per cent next year. Gross wages may rise by 5.5 per cent in 2016 and 2017. The dynamics of consumer spending throughout the year to reach 5 per cent, while the total private consumption is likely to grow at a rate above the about 4 per cent. (MTI)
