Kométa produces at full capacity
Kometa 99 Zrt. is one of the most important food production plants in Hungary from national point of view. The company processes an average of 11,000 pigs per week at full capacity. The company further tightened its already high hygiene standards at the outset of the outbreak and has since introduced additional precautions at the Kaposvár plant.
Even in times of coronavirus, it is vital that the public is provided with the most basic consumer goods, including food. Production cannot stop, and for this reason, Kometa has introduced a number of health safety measures at the outset of the outbreak regarding sourcing, disinfection of the plant, and session to protect the health of its employees, merchants and consumers.
