The Komáromi kisleány has become Hungary’s cake

This year, the Komáromi kisleány (Little Girl of Komárom has become the Cake of Hungary, while the winner of the Hungarian Sugar Free Cake Competition has become the Három kívánság (Three Wishes) cake – was announced on Tuesday in Budapest.

Selmeczi László, Co-Chairman of the Hungarian Association of Hungarian Pastry Manufacturers, said: their goal is to encourage the confectioners to innovate, so they are always waiting for new recipes. It is important that the cake to be made from healthy ingredients and that it can be linked to Hungary in some way. (MTI)
