Retail chains may be the future for small-scale beer
The supermarket chain is committed to bringing the quality products of domestic small-scale breweries closer to consumers, thereby providing an alternative to quality instead of quantity consumption. The latest step in this endeavor is that the chain has become the main sponsor of the Downtown Beer Festival on Szabadság Square, which will take place this year between August 30 and September 4.

The goal is to introduce lesser-known flavors
The Downtown Beer Festival is being organized for the sixth year this year, the undisclosed purpose of which is to introduce consumers to the special beer range as widely as possible.
“This beer festival is just as much for beer experts as it is for everyday beer drinkers, or even for those who don’t drink beer at all, but would like to taste specialties as part of a gastronomic program. Accordingly, the usual range of large-scale beers can be found, but there is also the opportunity to go on an adventure and try extreme flavors that the consumer may not necessarily encounter elsewhere, or only by chance.”
Dániel Kurucz, the main organizer of the Downtown Beer Festival, told Pénzcentrum.
Kurucz added: not only is it possible to taste at the tents of the various breweries, but the brewers are happy to help build the course and take those interested from simple pale ales to, say, more serious IPAs, or they can also get to know the world of fruity or sour beers, so getting to know the diversity of the drink.
